Power is an important game mechanic in The Return to Freddy's Classic. Just like FNaF 1, the player has a set number of power (which starts off at 100%) and will start to go down if the player watches the cameras or uses the door lights. If the player’s power supply reaches 0% the power will go out making the player completely vulnerable to Freddy who will automatically kill the player shortly after the goes out in a similar fashion to FNaF 1.

  • It’s actually fairly hard to run out of power due to the fact that the doors can’t be used/closed anymore (which used a lot of power in FNaF 1).

Power is a vital game mechanic in The Return to Freddy's 2 and returns from TRTF Classic. Unlike the first game, the player now has to constantly wind up the power generator in the East Hall (similiar to the Music Box) or else the power will go out. Once the power goes out the player can no longer check the cameras or even wear the Freddy mask, making the player completely vulnerable. Shortly after the power goes out Freddy will jumpscare the player, after playing the Toreador March.

Power is a vital game mechanic in The Return to Freddy's 4 and returns for the 1st time since TRTF 2, having taken an absence in TRTF 3. In a similar fashion to TRTF 2, you need to constantly wind up the power generator or else the power will go out leaving the player completely vulnerable to Freddy. To wind up the power supply, the player must pull down the right lever in the office, unlike in TRTF 2 in which you did it through the cameras. If the player doesn’t wind up the power generator in time and the power meter reaches 0% the power will go out and Freddy will come into the player’s office and jumpscare them.

Trivia

  • When the power goes out and Freddy is about to kill the player he will play a very broken down and glitch version of the "Toreador March".
