''BLOOD THIRSTY FOR CHILDREN.''

— Translated description from Nightmare Fuel, The Return to Freddy's 4

Golden Lockjaw (also known as Golden Frankburt) is a Torture Suit developed in Fazbear Inc. by Alison, and the container of Gron's corpse, after he accidentally entered the suit and consequently died inside of it. It makes its debut appearance in The Return to Freddy's 4, as one of the antagonists and as an Easter Egg.

When the Phone Buddies went to the rubbles of Fazbear Fantasy Land and entered the underground bunker, they found the Golden Lockjaw suit and the Golden Kitty FazCat suit slumped inside of it. During Night 6, Golden Lockjaw suddenly arrives at the building and attacks Blake during his nightshift.

Appearance

Golden Lockjaw looks a lot similar to Lockjaw, but with an old yellow color, appearing green. Its endoskeleton jaw is visible and its head appears to be floating. It is more withered then the other characters, with wires poking out in spots. It also has bluish-gray glowing eyes, but it is rarely seen with them. It appears to have animal-looking endoskeleton feet, which clearly doesn't match with Golden Lockjaw's design, as it is meant to resemble a human being and not an animal being.

Behavior

Starting from Night 1 and onwards, on very rare occasions Golden Lockjaw will appear in the far left corner of the player's office, screeching in pain. The player can defend Golden Lockjaw off just by simply pulling down the Steam Lever. Unlike Golden Freddy, Golden Lockjaw is actually a threat to the player, since he blocks the power generator lever when he is in the office, so the player can't charge the power anymore.

At the end of Night 6 at 5AM, Golden Lockjaw will appear standing in the left side of the office, and presumably kills Blake, with the screen glitching before cutting to the game over static. In the recordings, it was said that the staff didn't know where it came from, as they ordered only two springlock costumes; Fredbear and Spring Bonnie. Later, it's said that Golden Lockjaw is unstable, and is considered a prototype Springlock Suit, despite not containing any springlocks.

Nightmare Fuel Description

Golden Lockjaw's description reads: "%^&#&%$*!B$@!LO$@$OD!@%T@$@%*^HI@%#@RS@$@%T@^&!@!#Y*)*^&#%&FO!!!$%#%R*&C&*&@H%#IL$@D#%%#R!##$!E!$&%**^N&*^&%".

Trivia

  • Golden Lockjaw actually made its first appearance in the CD+ Minigame of The Return to Freddy's 3, when certain requirements are met. Its parts, which appear to be scattered all over the floor, are used to make a staircase for Gron to climb up to the exit door.
    • He was also planned to appear in the Major Updates of TRTF2, appearing in the Title Screen after the completing the whole game.
  • Three secret screens involving Golden Lockjaw may appear showing after death or before gameplay:
    • Golden Lockjaw sitting in an area with a light.
    • Golden Lockjaw down a hallway, next to a Foxy suit prop.
    • Golden Lockjaw climbing up an arcade, possibly the same ones shown in the intro.
  • Outside the minigames, Golden Lockjaw is a hallucination, explaining why no corpse is visible despite what is depicted in the minigames.
  • Golden Lockjaw has no name in the Nightmare Fuel menu.
    • In addition, its description is random assorted letters and numbers. When the numbers are removed, it spells "Bloodthirsty for Children".
      • This possibly references Gron being trapped inside it.
