Tyler Edmund Ahlström (previously known as BFPFilms424 and PoniatorFilms) is the original creator of the The Return to Freddy's series. He developed the Original TRTF Saga (which includes all of the games within Volume 1 of the series as well as all of the games that were planned to be within Volume 2). He is also one of the co-founders of Kriya Studios, the other being his brother, Sean.

- In 2014, prior to developing the TRTF series, he had gone under the name NovaCraft.
- For a brief period of time back in late 2015, BFP's username was PoniatorFilms.
- His new username was based off of this YouTuber's username.
- Throughout 2015 to 2019, when he was closer to the community, he more often called himself Tyler, and said he was of Swedish descent. But in more recent years, he has begun referring to himself as Edmund and introducing himself with his Spanish roots. The reasons for this shift are uncertain, although they likely have to do with him wanting to distance himself from his past internet presence.
- In very early 2015, during the development of TRTF 2, he met Hannah Owen, who at the time went by under the username Kitty FazCat. They began dating, and the two rapidly grew close, leading to her OC becoming a prominent character in the next few games, and the couple working on games as a team called PoniKittyGames.
- On a Google Document released by Tyler in 2016, he stated that he had broken up with Hannah, which would be later reinforced by him removing Kitty FazCat from the games and Hannah distancing herself from the TRTF community. - Around early 2015, BFPFilms used to be the leader of Sabani Games, a group that consisted of various FNaF Fangame Devs he was friends with at the time. However, the group eventually abandoned the idea and everything from their site was removed.
- The word "Sabani" means "Conflict" in the Hausa language.
